Introducing the RWL Chartered Accountants team…

Rachel Wilson – Director (CA)
Why am I in business? I am here to help my clients and being relaxed and approachable is paramount. Although I have worked in the accountancy industry for years, and accounting and taxation issues are second nature to me, going into business for myself has allowed me to develop my business skills, and I can pass on this advice to my clients. Being a relatively new business owner myself, I have experienced a lot of the issues first hand. Some issues were challenging where I learnt some lessons (I did not see these as failures) and this allowed me to develop some important skills which have not only helped me enhance my own business, but helps me understand how clients are feeling and what they are talking about when they ask questions and need help.

Sandra Morriss – Accredited Software Consultant /Associated Chartered Accountant
Why am I different? The difference between me and other accountants with the same qualifications, I believe, is my working class upbringing and my work/business experiences which sets me apart from other professionals. I know many of the pitfalls and challenges out there that are waiting for business people, hey I’ve experienced first hand many of them! I may not have all the answers all the time, there is no way any accountant can have all the answers, but if I don’t know something I will certainly find out. At the end of the day, I want to give my clients the right advice at the right time, so they achieve the right results.

Jenny Marklew – Senior Chartered Accountant
I qualified and have worked as a Chartered Accountant in the UK for the last 15 years gaining experience in a large variety of companies, and I am currently enjoying the opportunity and challenge of utilising these skills in New Zealand. What separates me from other accountants is my friendly, professional and down to earth attitude, as well as having the ability to make the more complicated areas of accountancy and tax understandable to those without an accounting background. I take pride in getting to know my clients, and their individual goals and plans and feel that as no two businesses are the same neither should be the accountancy service that I and RWL provide you.

I am friendly and approachable with ten years of experience in administration and accountancy. My goal while working with our clients is to be adaptable and professional to enable an ease of business and to help save your business time & money with down to earth practical solutions. I am motivated to making sure our client’s needs are met promptly and at the high standard that makes RWL Chartered Accountants and its team stand out from the rest.

Melanie Olsen – Client Services Assistant and Administrator
I thrive on assisting clients with their software and bookkeeping tasks, especially the jobs that everyone hates to do – you know the ones that end up in the too hard basket! My point of difference is my willingness to roll up my sleeves and get the job done using initiative rather than waiting to be told what is required. I care about our clients and how the success of their businesses determines their family’s welfare. That’s where the skills and expertise of the RWL Chartered Accountants comes in.

Zuleika Marsh – Client Services Assistant and Administrator
